33 week bumpdate

1/23/12

Dear Sienna,
Are you trying to bust out of my belly already? This week has been your most active week yet, you are non stop kicking, punching, stretching, you don't seem to ever sleep... that's pretty bad news for mommy. Your cousin Sofia got to feel you kick today, she got a little startled and asked "what is this baby doing in there?" I ask myself the same question. You are one active little girl! you even wake Daddy & I at night...but I'm not complaining, all that just lets me know you are so very healthy!

Here's to rolling with the punches,
-Mommy

Jack Johnson

 makes my ♥ happy.

His music brings back many memories of when Danny & I first started dating, whenever we hung out Jacks CDs were all on a rotation in my stereo...funny to think that my daughter probably wont even know what a stereo is, maybe not even a CD.

Well, next time he's in the Phoenix are or anywhere in California, we are strapping Sienna in a carrier & we're there!

can't get enough of this song lately!

I'm going to play Sienna all of his songs instead of nursery rhymes
since they will all sound familiar to her anyway :)
and speaking of our little girl, this song lyric of his made me giggle...

"you gotta be careful when you've got good love
'cause them angels will just keep on multiplying"

Nursery: Project Owl Pillow

My little girl has really inspired me to be crafty & I love it,
all of the decorations in her nursery were all handmade with love by Dan & I over a course of several weekends. Her nursery has become my favorite rooms in the house, I sit in there every evening & look at all her adorable things counting down the days till I can finally be in there with her in my arms.

I made her a little owl for the bookcase on the tree,
I think it turned out pretty cute!

step one: draw & cut out shapes

step two: sow the back & the front leaving enough space to stuff

step three: sow buttons on for the eyes

step four: shoo away silly husband haha

step five: stuff and sow up, glue and or sow on the rest of the parts

Dear Sienna,

We are having a dilemma over your middle name, the original plan was to give you your aunts name as your middle name... Sienna Monica, but the more I said it in my head the more it started to sound like a town in California. I love the name Madelyn and even considered it for your first name, but its grossly common...I refuse for you to be "just another Maddie" I want you to have a unique, beautiful name and I don't think there is a more beautiful name than Sienna, I hope you agree one day. So maybe Madelyn could be your middle name..we shall see.

Its getting more and more real...

We had a hospital tour today, and boy did it really set in after seeing that delivery room. It was a crazy mixture of excitement & nervousness.

7 weeks ( or less) to go!

I love this hospital,  My husband says it will make us feel like we're in a resort on vacation...Now I don't know if itd go as far as saying pushing a human being out of me will ever feel like a vacation, but the accommodation of this spankin new hospital will sure make this a little more bearable.

I'm really excited for this year,
A sweet little girl to complete our family, due to arrive on our 25th birthday.
I cant possibly think of a more amazing gift then that!

We often talk about all the exciting things we look forward to doing with her
taking little trips is one of them,  lets hope shes a good baby!

Our first family trip will be a drive to California, a little road trip along the Pacific coast...Or the San Diego area... we've talked about how we cant wait to put her in a baby carrier and take walks along the beach and Santa Monica Pier, seriously cannot wait. She's already got more bathing suits, hats & sunglasses than her Momma..shes all ready for her first summer!

is she the cutest thing ever or what?!

we've made it to 30 weeks!!

How Far Along?  30 weeks!  Only 10 ( or less) more weeks to go
Maternity Clothes?  Havent bought any yet,  just size M tops..pants still fit..some only with a belly band ( that thing is great)
Weight Gain? 18 pounds
Stretch Marks? I check everyday - still nothing! THANK YOU LORD
Sleep? i I officially hate having to sleep on my side every night. If I could have one wish granted it would be for someone to cut a hole in our bed so I could find a way to sleep on my tummy again.
Food Cravings?  chocolate & carbs, but that's nothing new
What I Miss? sleeping on my tummy
Symptoms?  heartburn, fatigue, back aches, waking up in the middle of the night to pee,  pain from  her  body parts jabbing into my ribs (these things are so minor in the grand scheme of things)
Best Moment of the Week?  having her nursery pretty much all set, going through her adorable clothes & picturing her in them, her kicks getting stronger & more frequent, getting her gear assembled & ready to go!
