So I really dont understand why brides-to-be have panic attacks right before the big day,  Am I the only one not nervous?  I'm certainly not thinking of what may go wrong...if anything does...I'll deal with it then. I havent even checked the weather for Cabo...of course I want the day to be perfect, but I think it will be regardless...I refuse to fret. Ive seen brides drop weight from all the wedding stress...I dont get it.  I'm pregnant and probably wont look as good in my dress as I would have liked to, I cant drink but that none of that even matters to me.... I'm marrying the most wonderful man on the planet, that is the only thing that matters.

My wish

When I heard this song, the first thing that came to my mind was my baby girl
So Sienna, this song is for you from Mommy

I hope that days come easy and moments pass slow,
And each road leads you where you want to go,
And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile,

More then anything, more then anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it,
To your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more then you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

I hope you never look back, but ya never forget,
All the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret,
And you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
And you always give more then you take.

Oh More then anything, Yeah, and more then anything,
My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it,
To your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more then you can hold,
And while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish

100th post

Sometimes I look at old pictures

back from the olden days, carefree days, you know... the days that put a smile on your face and make your heart happy.

I am a sentimental kinda girl. what can I say,
memories are too important

Here is a bit of a picture overload of my favorite moments & memories

The day I met my soon to be husband, I will never forget this day ( 1/28/2006)
I almost dropped my tables plates being so damn nervous. The next day we had our first date at Panera bread, we kissed ( yep, on the first date)...and the rest is a happily ever after.

My first time visiting in Arizona,
I knew right there & then that Id be living here someday
....someday came 5 years later.

Though I don't miss it,
Friendly's is where I met 2 of my bestest friends
I'm marrying one of them next week, the other one will be there...as she always has been.

Meeting my oldest niece for the first time - 3 days old
Shes now almost 8 years old...where does time go?

Making a snowman in Arizona,
Never thought Id be doing that!

My childhood home in Poland
So bittersweet going back to visit,
I always  wonder what my life would be like if we had never left.

Dan & I on our 19th Birthday... Wow
soon we'll be celebrating our 25th with a sweet baby girl
( what could possibly be a better gift?)

My favorite concert ever, right against the stage..bliss.
Jack Johnson - Central Park

Proudest Moment of both of our lives
June 2011 - Homeowners

My Pageant, no I didn't win
but it was one of the most fun nights with my family

Our big move to AZ & the adventures along the way
The food in Texas was out of this world

So glad Danny got to meet my sweet Grandma before she passed away
Poland 2009

The day Sofia started saying my name the best way she could "ata"
melting my heart - 5 months old

Sharing a REAL slice of pizza with my sis in Rome

My familys visits to AZ,
these visits are rare so they're cherished that much more

Best decision of my life

50 Rules for Dads of Daughters...

A friend posted this on facebook and I thought it was to sweet not to share! My heart could possibly explode with joy every time I think about what an awesome daddy Danny is going to be and how lucky 0ur little girl is going to be to have him!

1. Love her mom. Treat her mother with respect, honor, and a big heaping spoonful of public displays of affection. When she grows up, the odds are good she’ll fall in love with and marry someone who treats her much like you treated her mother. Good or bad, that’s just the way it is. I’d prefer good.

2. Always be there. Quality time doesn’t happen without quantity time. Hang out together for no other reason than just to be in each other’s presence. Be genuinely interested in the things that interest her. She needs her dad to be involved in her life at every stage. Don’t just sit idly by while she add years to her… add life to her years.

3. Save the day. She’ll grow up looking for a hero. It might as well be you. She’ll need you to come through for her over and over again throughout her life. Rise to the occasion. Red cape and blue tights optional.

4. Savor every moment you have together. Today she’s crawling around the house in diapers, tomorrow you’re handing her the keys to the car, and before you know it, you’re walking her down the aisle. Some day soon, hanging out with her old man won’t be the bees knees anymore. Life happens pretty fast. You better cherish it while you can.

5. Pray for her. Regularly. Passionately. Continually.

6. Buy her a glove and teach her to throw a baseball. Make her proud to throw like a girl… a girl with a wicked slider.

7. She will fight with her mother. Choose sides wisely.

8. Go ahead. Buy her those pearls.

9. Of course you look silly playing peek-a-boo. You should play anyway.

10. Enjoy the wonder of bath time.

11. There will come a day when she asks for a puppy. Don’t over think it. At least one time in her life, just say, “Yes.”

12. It’s never too early to start teaching her about money. She will still probably suck you dry as a teenager… and on her wedding day.

13. Make pancakes in the shape of her age for breakfast on her birthday. In a pinch, donuts with pink sprinkles and a candle will suffice.

14. Buy her a pair of Chucks as soon as she starts walking. She won’t always want to wear matching shoes with her old man.

15. Dance with her. Start when she’s a little girl or even when she’s a baby. Don’t wait ‘til her wedding day.

16. Take her fishing. She will probably squirm more than the worm on your hook. That’s OK.

17. Learn to say no. She may pitch a fit today, but someday you’ll both be glad you stuck to your guns.

18. Tell her she’s beautiful. Say it over and over again. Someday an animated movie or “beauty” magazine will try to convince her otherwise.

19. Teach her to change a flat. A tire without air need not be a major panic inducing event in her life. She’ll still call you crying the first time it happens.

20. Take her camping. Immerse her in the great outdoors. Watch her eyes fill with wonder the first time she sees the beauty of wide open spaces. Leave the iPod at home.

21. Let her hold the wheel. She will always remember when daddy let her drive.

22. She’s as smart as any boy. Make sure she knows that.

23. When she learns to give kisses, she will want to plant them all over your face. Encourage this practice.

24. Knowing how to eat sunflower seeds correctly will not help her get into a good college. Teach her anyway.

25. Letting her ride on your shoulders is pure magic. Do it now while you have a strong back and she’s still tiny.

26. It is in her nature to make music. It’s up to you to introduce her to the joy of socks on a wooden floor.

27. If there’s a splash park near your home, take her there often. She will be drawn to the water like a duck to a puddle.

28. She will eagerly await your return home from work in the evenings. Don’t be late.

29. If her mom enrolls her in swim lessons, make sure you get in the pool too. Don’t be intimidated if there are no other dads there. It’s their loss.

30. Never miss her birthday. In ten years she won’t remember the present you gave her. She will remember if you weren’t there.

31. Teach her to roller skate. Watch her confidence soar.

32. Let her roll around in the grass. It’s good for her soul. It’s not bad for yours either.

33. Take her swimsuit shopping. Don’t be afraid to veto some of her choices, but resist the urge to buy her full-body beach pajamas.

34. Somewhere between the time she turns three and her sixth birthday, the odds are good that she will ask you to marry her. Let her down gently.

35. She’ll probably want to crawl in bed with you after a nightmare. This is a good thing.

36. Few things in life are more comforting to a crying little girl than her father’s hand. Never forget this.

37. Introduce her to the swings at your local park. She’ll squeal for you to push her higher and faster. Her definition of “higher and faster” is probably not the same as yours. Keep that in mind.

38. When she’s a bit older, your definition of higher and faster will be a lot closer to hers. When that day comes, go ahead… give it all you’ve got.

39. Holding her upside down by the legs while she giggles and screams uncontrollably is great for your biceps. WARNING: She has no concept of muscle fatigue.

40. She might ask you to buy her a pony on her birthday. Unless you live on a farm, do not buy her a pony on her birthday. It’s OK to rent one though.

41. Take it easy on the presents for her birthday and Christmas. Instead, give her the gift of experiences you can share together.

42. Let her know she can always come home. No matter what.

43. Remember, just like a butterfly, she too will spread her wings and fly some day. Enjoy her caterpillar years.

44. Write her a handwritten letter every year on her birthday. Give them to her when she goes off to college, becomes a mother herself, or when you think she needs them most.

45. Learn to trust her. Gradually give her more freedom as she gets older. She will rise to the expectations you set for her.

46. When in doubt, trust your heart. She already does.

47. When your teenage daughter is upset, learning when to engage and when to back off will add years to YOUR life. If you succeed in doing this, tell me how.

48. Ice cream covers over a multitude of sins. Know her favorite flavor.

49. This day is coming soon. There’s nothing you can do to be ready for it. The sooner you accept this fact, the easier it will be.

50. Today she’s walking down the driveway to get on the school bus. Tomorrow she’s going off to college. Don’t blink.

Dear Sienna,
Here is a picture of your Mommy & Daddy on their first big trip as a couple.
We loved Italy, we had the best gelato ever in Siena...your Daddy wants to spell your just the city with one 'n' Im thinking about it. Too bad we cant ask you what you think.

                                                      Yummy gelato in Siena, Italy

Its a GIRL!!

 Dear Sienna,

Ah feels so good to call you by your name! This past Saturday your very impatient Daddy & I went to a 3D ultrasound place to find out if you are a boy or girl, to our surprise you are definitely not a little Hudson and 100% little Sienna :) I think you're going to be a little ballerina because you were spinning around like crazy, so adorable! looks like you have some long legs too...you definitely didn't get that from your momma. Your Daddy cant stop talking about you, we are both so excited. After we got to see you, we called both of your Grandmas right away...they were of course very happy. After that we went on a shopping spree for you, we picked out the cutest things! I really hope you have Daddy's big heart...I cant even begin to describe how much he loves you already. You re one lucky little lady! Last night while I was laying in bed listening to Jack Johnson, I felt little flutters for the first time...was that you trying to tell me you like Jack just like your momma? well, Im sure you will be hearing more of him. Keep those flutters coming, I love them and cant wait till they go from flutters to kicks ( Daddy keeps saying he cant wait to feel the kicks too).

love,
Mommy.

13 weeks

My dearest Jellybean,

Today I got to hear your heart beat for the first time, and I think mine skipped a beat.
I wasn't suppose to...but I begged the Doctor to do a little quickie of an ultrasound because I wanted to see you again so bad!...you were sleeping with your fists by your face, it was so precious.   You are about the size of a large lemon, measuring about 3.5 inches long.  We are so happy to know that you are doing well. I'm not showing much yet, but I have put on 2 pounds.  I'm looking forward to having a "baby bump" in a few weeks.

here you are, making your mommas heart skip a beat
13 weeks, 1 day (9/6/11)

can you tell how happy you're making me?
13 weeks, 3 days

We have all been guessing if you will be a boy or a girl.  We think you're a boy, although we don't mind either way.  Saturday we are going to see you again, in 3D this time...hopefully you're not shy and you can let us know if you're a little Hudson or a little Sienna because I am dying to start buying you stuff!

Love,
Mommy.

Where is the bridezilla?

  • Leaving for Cabo in 2 weeks
  • Getting married in another country
  • Don't have everything done
  • My dress isn't back from the tailors yet
  • Spending an arm & a leg on this wedding
  • Traveling pregnant

Shouldn't I suppose to be freaking out right about now?
I think somebody must have gotten a happy joy joy optimistic spell on me
I think that somebody might just be the little peanut in my belly :)

Seems like this little blessing of ours is all we ever talk about these days,
this baby is so incredibly loved already!
lucky lucky kiddo, and lucky me to have such an amazing man in my life who I know for sure will make the best father & husband.

cloud 9

Baby, wedding && new house can cause one to have a little happiness high :)
Ive decided to return to the blog world for a little update

I am 3 months pregnant and feeling wonderful!! ( thank you little one)
a couple of girls at work said I have " pregnancy glow" going
Everything so far has been smooth sailing with this pregnancy, lets hope the rest is that way too.

Apparently I have 0- bloodtype which is extremely rare, it make my body produce antibodies againts the baby...freaking weird! I have to take a shot at 28weeks to prevent that from happening, this so far has been my only issue with the pregnancy.

I cannot wait to feel him/her move

We are not patient enough to wait till 20 weeks like everyone else to find out the sex, so we've decided to go to a 3D ultrasound place to find out sooner :) maybe even next week!

I feel like its a boy, lets see if my instict is right.
Seeing the pattern in my family, a boy is nearly impossible.
12 weeks - size of a peach
3 inches long

I love shopping for my little peanut!
