I tasted it

I was finally brave enough

If you remember THIS gem of a post...
you know that my Mother & Brother -in-law tasted my breastmilk before I did their reaction was absolutely PRICELESS and I'm still laughing about it to this day.

"you could bottle this up and sell it!
never gets old.

See, its not that I'm grossed out by my own milk,
I just have an irrational aversion to warm milk..but today, we are on the last baggie of my frozen milk stash and I thought it was my last chance to try...for a while atleast. So I did.

And - since it was in the process of deforsting, I was able to have it semi- iced
PERFECT for my weird warm milk phobia HA

Thoughts? 'Sweet nectar' ineed.

last bottle of breast milk,
so glad I had enough to last her over a year!

  1. This post made me smile because after 14 1/2 months of nursing, I JUST tried some the other day and thought, "Wow, no wonder she'd rather this than regular milk!!!" So sweet!! I was surprised how tasty it was actually! ;)

  2. I breastfed my daughter for 21 months. I never tried it. I am hoping when/if I have another child that I will have to taste it because I am a little disappointed that I didn't just do it.
